We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager Alternatives Reporting
In this role, you will be:
- Responsible for managing the production of end-to-end reporting for the various asset classes like Private Equity, Infrastructure Debt, Direct Real Estate, Venture Capital, Direct Lending syndicates etc.
- Good to have in-depth knowledge of various asset classes, fund structures and limited partnership agreements.
- Ability to analyse fund performance for various alternative assets like private equity, hedge funds, real estate, and infrastructure debt for reports.
- Co-ordinate with various administrators and investment managers to collate data to meet fund reporting timelines. Strong prioritization and effective communication skills required to manage the process flow and meet our targets.
- Calculate fund multiples and IRRs using cash flows and perform various fund analytics such as attribution and value creation analysis.
- Deliver “Alternative Investor Reports, Client and Mandate Reports and Factsheets” as per the SLA’s
- Answer ad hoc queries related to fund performance and benchmarks.
- Manage the stakeholders by having a constant line of communication and proactively considering the issues and plan for key risks and developments.
- Work closely with the wider HSBC Alternatives & Asset Management Group (AMG) team and other stakeholders to suggest process improvements and increase the efficiency of the process.
To be successful you will be:
- Post Graduate degree holder with 7+ yrs of experience in Performance Analysis, Attribution & Reporting function.
- Proactive and positive attitude towards change.
- Strong PowerPoint/MS-Excel skills desired.
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)/ Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) holder or working towards them
- Power BI, Tableau
- Experience in Alternatives and Performance Reporting function.
