We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager - AM Client Platforms - Client Business CoE

 

In this role, you will be:

  • Responsible for training and supporting new and existing users on the business processes and functionalities of Sales Analytics Portal. Sales Analytics Portal is a Tableau dashboard that is the first touchpoint for Sales engagement. It provides Fund’s performance data and competitive positioning insights of HSBC Funds.
  • Responsible for supporting users  in functional queries on how to perform certain actions in the portal.
  • Interpret information in the different Tableau dashboards / visualization and support Sales in their client engagements.
  • Take measures to capture system defects raised by users and liaise with the development team for ensuring it is remediated.
  • Manage various communications such as Outage, Monthly Newsletter etc.
  • Maintain  the responsibility to refresh data in the Tableau dashboards by collecting the data from Internal stakeholders or Database providers and ensure the data accuracy on a day-to-day basis.
  • Perform periodical / ad-hoc processes e.g., Data Quality tasks, Re-alignment of Data with other internal HSBC Teams and external stakeholders (such as Morningstar, eVestment etc.)
  • Undertake measures for identifying automation opportunities to bring efficiency in the day to day tasks..
  • Develop on-demand bespoke reports using Morningstar / eVestment data, and the opportunities to add on to the existing Self-service framework. 

 

To be successful you will be:

  • Comfortable being able to manipulate large data sets (typically from Morningstar and eVestment) and updating the data into the platforms supported.
  • Strong understanding of Asset Management business. Specifically, the business processes within Sales, Client Management/Service, and Investment Management; with a bend towards the AM’s Institutional and Wholesale Business Fund data.
  • Proven experience in Databases such as Morningstar, eVestment, Mercer etc.Proven experience in supporting / using Tableau dashboards.
  • Good Knowledge of financial products & their role in the Asset and wealth management industry.
  • Overall experience of 5 years or above preferably in the Asset Management and Capital Markets industry in Sales Support or Business Analysis role.
  • Qualification – Post Graduation / Information Technology degree and/or qualification from a reputed institute. Good knowledge of Business Analysis, Agile Methodology, Automation / Workflow Tools, and Tableau certifications preferred
