We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager, Stress Testing Global Treasury

 

In this role, you will:

  • Independently observe and conduct customer-driven analytics including pricing, planning models, and revenue/margin analysis for key products across lines of businesses. Work on large, complex data sets by simplifying them as per expertise – including data extraction, summarization, analysis and data-bases storytelling.
  • Conduct data analysis to extend strategic support to the delivery of regulatory stress testing exercises such as the PRA BCST, GIST, CCAR, RST and CBES as well as any additional ad hoc requests from senior management.
  • Perform hands-on analytics and modelling using tools such as SAS, Python, R, and Excel. Model types include regression models, Machine Learning techniques, Product profitability models, Vintage-based models, Macroeconomic Scenario analysis, Climate risk assessments or Driver-based models etc.
  • Undertake development of analytical solutions focused on customer segments and product propositions, linking initiatives to financial impact and return, expected losses and Risk weighted assets
  • Undertake development and deployment of technology-driven solutions leveraging Python, SAS, SQL, TM1 and/or Cloud platforms. Proactively test and implement innovative tools to solve real-time business problems, automate existing processes and drive efficiency.
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen by narrating financial outcomes with insights on customer behaviour, market trends, macroeconomic movements and strategic assumptions.
  • Undertake self-initiated projects that generate business value and consequently act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for financial modelling or analytical solutions, specific product areas or stress testing
  • Manage stakeholders effectively and drive end-to-end delivery of MI, insights, and strategic recommendations across key areas.
  • Juggle multiple cross-functional projects efficiently, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
  • Ensure at all times full compliance with internal policies (e.g., Data Security, AML, Operational Risk) and regulatory standards, address audit actions in a timely and compliant manner.

 

To be successful you will:

  • Advanced degree: MBA (Finance) or master’s in economics, Statistics, Engineering, or Accounting with relevant analytics experience.
  • 1-2 years’ analytics experience required in banking, including risk modelling, stress testing, forecasting, and product strategy development.
  • Proven hands-on expertise in developing and deploying financial, statistical, and machine learning models and/or building complex analytical solutions end-to-end.
  • Strong track record of delivering critical, high-impact projects.
  • Excellent numerical aptitude and advanced financial modeling skills, with proficiency in SAS, SQL, R, Python, PySpark, NLP, Qlik Sense, and other analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex business problems using limited or complex data and design feasible solution frameworks.
  • Experience managing and delivering diverse analytics projects virtually and across cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex concepts and insights.
  • Ability to present complex technical concepts in simple & effective manner to business stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship management, and influencing skills, especially with senior management and global virtual teams.
