We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Sr. Associate Director, Software Engineering

In this role, you will:

Strategic Vision & Architecture:
•    Lead the Design: Architect and own the end-to-end decisioning framework, strategies, and solutions within Pega CDH, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with enterprise technology standards and business objectives.
•    Next-Best-Action (NBA) Mastery: Define and govern the implementation of the Next-Best-Action Designer, including 1:1 Ops Manager, engagement policies, arbitration rules, taxonomies, and treatment management.
•    Business Translation: Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, marketing, and data science teams to translate complex customer engagement goals, campaign objectives, and business requirements into effective and efficient decisioning logic.
•    Data Integration: Oversee the data architecture required to feed the decisioning engine, ensuring seamless, real-time integration with internal and external data sources (e.g., CRM, data warehouses, real-time event streams).
Implementation & Governance:
•    Hands-on Expertise: Provide technical guidance and leadership in the configuration of decisioning components, including Strategy rules, Predictive/Adaptive Models, Data Flows, and Proposition/Offer management.
•    Quality Assurance: Define standards for code quality, configuration best practices, and governance within the decisioning platform. Lead code reviews and solution audits to ensure optimal performance and maintainability.
•    Performance Optimization: Drive continuous improvement through performance tuning, simulation testing, A/B testing, and ongoing monitoring and refinement of decisioning strategies and models to maximize ROI.
•    Compliance: Ensure all decisioning logic and AI models comply with regulatory requirements, ethical AI standards, and internal risk frameworks.
Leadership & Mentoring:
•    Team Development: Mentor, guide, and lead a team of Decisioning/System Architects, uplifting their skills and capabilities in Pega CDH best practices and delivery methodologies.
•    Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between technical delivery teams and business stakeholders, clearly communicating technical concepts, progress, and solution implications to both technical and non-technical audiences.
•    Thought Leadership: Stay current with Pega Decisioning capabilities and industry trends, evangelizing the platform's potential and contributing to the strategic roadmap for customer engagement.

 

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Required: 
•    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
•    5+ years of hands-on experience as a Pega Decisioning Architect or similar role, with a strong focus on Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH).
•    Proven track record of successfully designing, architecting, and leading the implementation of large-scale, real-time Next-Best-Action (NBA) or Decision Management solutions.
•    Deep expertise in Pega Decisioning components (e.g., Strategy Rules, Engagement Policies, Prediction Studio, Next-Best-Action Designer).
•    Strong understanding of marketing concepts, customer lifecycle management, campaign orchestration, and omnichannel personalization.
•    Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead discussions with senior business and technical leaders.
Preferred:
•    Pega Certified Decisioning Consultant (PCDC) certification is highly preferred.
•    Pega Certified Lead System Architect (LSA) certification is a strong plus.
•    Experience with other analytical tools, data visualization, or big data technologies that integrate with Pega.
•    Prior experience in Financial Services, Telecom is an added advantage
•    Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban etc).
