We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Global Trade Solutions - Data Product Manager

In this role, you will:

  • Provide specialist support in handling activities relating to improved data quality across global and country product teams
  • Support your manager in preparing and delivering data-driven performance updates to GTS leadership teams 
  • Constantly look for ways to improve automated data sourcing across current GTS systems and processes
  • Exercise a high degree of adherence in uncovering data inconsistencies across various GTS source systems and reports and validate for accuracy to support quality reviews undertaken by the team
  • Identify opportunities in commercializing our data to improve client and colleague experience, increase revenue, improve risk management and reduce manual handling of data sourcing & handling
  • Help in gathering of detailed data requirements for stakeholders to deliver analytics and reports helping their ongoing review process

To be successful, you will:

  • Ability to create / query relational database efficiently SQL lite, Mysql
  • Ability to challenge assumptions and validate data accuracy. Identify trends, anomalies, and cause-effect relationship in data
  • Ability to turn numbers into actionable insights & business plan (data story telling). Craft clear and compelling narratives for stakeholders
  • Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. Ability to handle missing values, outliers, duplicates and inconsistent data
  • Data manipulation (Pandas, dplyr), visualization (Matplotlib, ggplot2), and analysis. Automation libraries for Excel and Power point
  • User proficiency in tools like Power BI, Qlik. Ability to create dashboards and communicate insights visually
