Job Title: Fund Administrator
In this role, you will:
- To process the following transactions accurately and in a timely manner pertaining to Transfer Agency functions in Bangalore.
- Subscription, Redemption, Switches and Transfers from the investors into and from the fund.
- Reporting to interested parties such as the Fund Accountants, Investors, Distributors, Fund/Asset Management Companies.
- Investor Onboarding, Account Set up and Maintenance
- Settlement and Reconciliation of the deals settled and payments received or made to the investors.
- End of Day Activities.
- Corporate Action and Fund Price updates to the system.
- And any other activities pertaining to Transfer Agency functions which may be introduced in future.
To be successful you will:
- Commerce Graduate is essential, Post Graduate degree in commerce and Accounts would be an added advantage.
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively in English, both oral and written
- Knowledge of securities industry, Mutual funds, hedged funds, role of Transfer Agents, Registrars, Custodian etc. are desirable
- Multi-cultural background or experience, ability to work across broad range of cultures in support of HSBC Group values and objectives
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong computer skills in Excel and Microsoft Word
- Good team player and able to work well independently
- CISI – Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment Certifications
- Prior experience in Transfer Agency & Registrar operations
- Understanding of Market and Mutual Fund operations desirable
