We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Fund Administration.

In this role, you will:

  • Work towards Quality output and delivering the outputs on time ensuring efficiency. in the process that is being performed. Take appropriate measures to support the Leads in delivering the tasks in an efficient and effective manner and process transactions in the due course of business. Lead User Acceptance Testing for the business (as and when required).
  • Generate accurate and timely reports and perform activities as per business expectations. Take appropriate measures to support the leads in the audit / review process by providing timely and appropriate support as per requirements. Highlight the key concern areas immediately to the superiors as and when observed in the day-to-day business.
  • Communicate in an effective and structured manner to keep the team updated of the events observed in their regular delivery. To share process related best practices with the team. Initiatives to demonstrate the application of principles in the day-to-day work environment Participation and support provided to initiatives taken by other teams.
  • Be involved in the project / support related activities as and when it arises. Being proactive in identifying root causes for process related challenges and share qualitative resolution. Be flexible to adopt in different working environment with counter parts across the globe. Demonstrate Group Values & principles.
  • Maintain HSBC internal control standards overseeing the timely implementation of audit points. Updating all daily MIS (Management Information System) / trackers accurately and in a timely manner as required by the process. Complete all Mandatory trainings as and when required. Ensure timely follow up on the open & outstanding issues that hinder the valuation while adhering to Escalation Matrix as agreed between Business Partners and MSS (Markets and Securities Services).
  • Actively participate in projects for improvement in delivery quality and/or timeliness. Proactively identify and reduce manual processes for enhanced operational control while supporting and implementing technology up gradation. Continually identify and raise risks that have been identified / observed in department processes and procedures.
  • Take appropriate measures to extend support to audit process and recommendations on a timely manner. Perform any additional responsibilities that may be required by the Supervisor in support of the on-going management and development of the division.
  • Perform the fund’s activities correctly as per the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure), Checklist and controls. Support the Manager in the process and to work in perfect harmony, fostering strong teamwork to ensure service level excellence.

To be successful, you will:

  • Commerce graduate or postgraduate.
  • Professional qualification in the fields of Accounting like CA (Chartered Accountant), ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), ICWA (Institute of Cost and Works Accountants (India), CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) and CS (Company Secretary).
  • Good knowledge on Accounting Concepts with a decent understanding of financial statements.
  • Knowledge of the Accounting Standards and the ability to relate them to Financial Statements. Knowledge in IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and US GAAP (United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) will be desirable.
  • Knowledge of capital market terminologies and operations will be an added advantage.
  • Basic Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills.
  • An analytical mind to analyze and understand the transactions.
  • Good communication skill and a proactive mindset to pick up tasks being asked to.
