We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Data Management Support Specialist

In this role, you will be:

• The role demands a highly motivated, pro-active approach to data management with excellent communication skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Candidates should have experience of the investment management industry, significant data management experience, be highly numerate and able to come up with solutions to unanticipated problems where required (ideally drawing on industry expertise and prior experience).
• The primary purpose of the role will be to ensure that the Data Ingestion, Data Quality and Data Support provided into various platforms are seamless.
• Data management knowledge should include a thorough understanding of investment management data-sets including transactions, holdings, instrument, account and Fund data-sets,
• Candidate should know technical skills such as SQL, to derive and understand data to perform reconciliation within data sets per requirement.
• Sees the 'bigger picture' and assesses relationships between solutions / projects and business performance.
• Maintain accuracy and completeness in all outputs, processes, systems and communications as an integral part of delivery
• The candidate will also be expected to achieve results through influence and persuasion as well as exercise direct authority.
• The candidate will be required to work within the overall framework of the Asset Management Group Operations

To be successful you will be:

• Masters degree in finance or equivalent qualification.
• At least 4+ years’ experience within asset / investment management firms/roles. Preferably 3+ years’ work experience in the areas of Investment Operations such as Corporate Actions postings (Voluntary and Mandatory), Position and Cash reconciliations and Securities Data Exceptions Management.
• Establishes goals, success criteria and performance measures to evaluate the success of major strategic initiatives
• Work with the local management to deliver collaboration and teamwork.
• Strong technical skillset as relating to Data management and Data Quality, work including sound understanding of front office tools and systems (OMS, decision support tools, databases, etc.)
• Engage with various stakeholders on SIT and UAT. Effective communication and strong analytical skills are a must
