We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Business Intelligence Visualisation Development – Corp & Inst Banking

In this role, you will:

• The core objective of the role AVP – Business Intelligence would be to build/develop intelligent applications/ dashboards using QlikSense / BI tools and publish reports via NPrinting per the defined requirements. The complex business requirements to be translated into user friendly and most importantly visually pleasing dashboards allowing the senior leadership team to visualise the overall functional performances. The role of the QlikSense developer is to create new generation Business intelligence applications/ dashboards to support the overall objective of the Business Intelligence Function.
• Looking for an experienced QlikSense/BI developer with minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in a technical environment. Hands on experience in Qlik Sense/ BI development, dash boarding and data modelling and reporting (ad hoc report generation) techniques. Create different types of charts for QlikSense Dashboard Analyse
• Must be good at Data transformation, the creation of QVD files and set analysis. Knowledge in creating mashups and extensions for Mobile & Tablets dashboard compatible. Experienced in application designing, architecting, development and deployment using Qlik Sense. Must be efficient in front-end development and know visualization best practices.
• Strong database designing and SQL skills. Experienced in RDMS such as MS SQL Server and Alteryx is preferred but not Mandatory.
• Strong communication skills (verbal/written) to deliver the technical insights and interpret the data reports to the stakeholders. Also helps in understanding and serving to the stakeholder’s requirements.
• Leadership qualities and thoughtful implementation of Qlik Sense best practices in order to deliver effective Qlik Sense solutions to the users. Provide input on proposing, evaluating, and selecting appropriate design alternatives which meet stakeholder’s requirements and are consistent with current standards and processes.
• Able to comprehend and translate complex and advanced functional, technical, and business requirements into executable architectural designs.
• Experienced in data integration through extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from multiple sources into QlikSense applications. Meeting / exceeding the changing expectations of stakeholders and business partners.
• Maintaining HSBC Internal Control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
• Strong analytical Abilities to understand the complex needs of WCS stakeholders and arriving at creative solutions. Python and NLTK is an advantage.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: 

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in the relevant area along with a good QlikSense or any other BI experience
• Excellent interpersonal Skills with proven IT project management skills required for running the business effectively. Experience in Business Process Reengineering/ Management.
• Delivery-focused with ability to pay attention to detail and ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required levels of quality.
• Ability to design and lead the team managing WCS BI Strategic initiatives. Ability to contribute to the development of Qlik extensions, embedded analytic solutions, and other strategic initiatives. Should have working knowledge on map features in Qlik, Drill down and roll up functionalities.
• Experience in various chart functions such as aggregations, ranking and set analysis and experience with NPrinting. Exposure to quality/productivity enhancing tools and techniques - Lean, Six Sigma (Green belt certified, Black belt trained)
• Experience with programming language such as GCP/ SQL/Big Query/Python(essential)
• Ability to build relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively with business heads, senior managers, third party consultants, technical experts across the whole department and business users.

• Outstanding written / verbal communication and presentation skills. Aptitude to engage a diverse group of stakeholders to deliver at pace.
• Ability to work under pressure and guide the teams to success. Proven business analysis skills and eye for detail. Ability to mentor team members
