We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President - Senior Request for Proposal Writer
In this role, you will be:
- The Request for Proposal Writer role is critical to the new business process, playing an instrumental role in the achievement of HSBC Asset Management’s growth ambitions.
- The Request for ProposalTeam leads and completes Request for Proposal and Due Diligence Questionnaires for Institutional and Wholesale clients and consultants globally and encompassing a wide and diverse range of asset classes, investment strategies and funds.
- Take measures to manage Client documents such as Request for Proposal and Due Diligence Questionnaires and ensure that they are content- and data-intensive and usually have tight deadlines .
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders/subject matter experts to confirm high quality articulation to clients of HSBC Asset Management investment philosophy, capabilities, processes, investment vehicles and the firm’s competitive advantages.
- Partners with Request for Proposal colleagues in other regions to enable cross-border Request for Proposals and other client documents and provide guidance to Head of Request for Proposal, India, in building the global Request for Proposal function.
- Development of specialist product responsibilities by asset class according to business need. Opportunity to work directly with Investment Specialists and Subject matter experts.
- Completes required training and able to provide flexible team backup as needed.
To be successful, you will:
- Detailed knowledge of Request for Proposal and Due Diligence Questionnaires and related client documents, including regulations, compliance requirements and delivery processes.
- Sound understanding of investment products and markets and client requirements. and good knowledge of performance systems, reporting systems, third-party performance databases and institutional reporting standards
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills. Further language skills, such as French, Italian, German, Chinese or Japanese would also be an advantage, but not essential..
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and their sometimes-conflicting expectations and requirements
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience in asset management industry
- Qualification - Post Graduation / Masters in Business Administration/ or equivalent qualification; Chartered Financial Analyst, Financial Risk Manager, Environment and Social Governance Certification - (completed or pursuing).
