We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President Sales Quality Conduct and Regulatory Risk

In this role, you will:

  • The purpose of this role is to oversee the implementation of controls associated with Regulatory Risk, Conduct Risk, and Sales Suitability across all countries in Asia Pacific.
  • Responsible for ensuring maintenance and reinforcement of the Sales Quality and Conduct frameworks.
  • Act independently as a subject matter expert of Conduct and the Sales Quality minimum standards, and responsible for advising countries on the existing requirements and identify and highlighting issues for escalation when required.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all countries are familiar with the framework associated with Regulatory Risk and support adherence to policies and procedures
  • Oversee and manage the timely production of management information at both country and regional level.
  • Collaborate and contribute in team meeting / team activities and work towards sustaining team spirit.
  • Collaborate with line manager/supervisor in managing day-to-day operations and support peers on process if needed.
  • Acts as a role model for our Group Values and Behaviors (Open, Connected, Dependable), supporting colleagues and customers to deliver superior customer service through these values.

To be successful you will:

  • Bachelor’s degree in banking, finance, accountancy or in related field. Relevant advanced degree or professional qualification is an advantage.
  • Knowledge on risk roles such as audit experience / risk management and sales process would be preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Good analytical skills, preferably with previous experience on data analytics.
  • Well-organized, passionate, and highly responsible
  • Experience of 8-12 years in risk domain. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, with ability to deliver good quality output within a tight timeframe.
  • Ability to communicate and deal with complex issues.
