We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President - Operations.

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate the closing process for par and distressed loan trades, ensuring all documentation (Transfer Deeds, Assignment Agreements) is executed accurately.
  • Liaise with MSS and external dealers’ closing teams, internal legal counsel, counterparties, and agent banks to resolve settlement hurdles.
  • Update and maintain the trade blotter to reflect real-time positions and trade statuses.
  • Monitor "Know Your Customer" (KYC) requirements for new counterparties and orchestrate the onboarding process when required.
  • Manage the digital filing system for all credit agreements and transactional documents.
  • Generate weekly reports on unsettled trades, cash positions, and portfolio performance.
  • Identify and escalate breaks in reconciliation between internal records and agent bank notices.
  • Assist in the preparation of month-end valuation reports and regulatory filings.

To be successful, you will:

  • Must have work experience in financial services operations (Loan Middle Office, Debt Capital Markets, or Fund Administration preferred).
  • MBA in Finance from a reputed institute preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel is mandatory. Experience with loan platforms like ClearPar, IHS Markit, or Loan IQ is a significant advantage.
  • Understanding of Basel norms/Risk Weighted Assets is highly desirable.
  • Strong ability to reconcile complex data sets and identify discrepancies.
  • Good understanding of credit risk concepts and risk & return profitability measures.
  • Good understanding of corporate finance, banking and associated Bank book products & trading-book products.
  • Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communications – written and verbal and interpersonal/team skills.
  • Experience and ability to operate in a global setting/interact with Business Partners .and Senior Management
