We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President - Cost Management Analyst.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Develop new datasets linking suppliers to operational costs and revenue to support customer-centric decisions on cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Support the development of Total Cost of Ownership models, enabling management to make fact-based decisions with full visibility of the impact on customers and revenue.
  • Liaise regularly with a broad range of stakeholders, including Cost Management leadership, Procurement category managers and buyers, and Analytics teams across Procurement and Global Operations.
  • Collaborate with data experts to achieve team objectives and provide leadership with reliable data that supports confidence in service quality and delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to continuously improve and optimise the Cost Management programme by reviewing and enhancing existing processes.
  • Review analysis, Management Information and reporting to identify key themes, trends and risks that may affect the achievement of organisational objectives.
  • Lead initiatives that promote strong data management and quality practices, ensure regulatory compliance across locations, and maintain appropriate data tools, standards, frameworks and templates.
  • Monitor adherence to policies, frameworks and tools relating to Data Governance and Data Quality, while managing relationships between data elements across different systems.

To be successful, you will:

  • Have more than seven years of hands-on analytics experience, using data to solve complex business problems and communicating findings to business and senior stakeholders.
  • Have experience creating frameworks for continuous technical learning. Previous Cost Management experience within a financial institution, regulatory agency or major consulting firm would be beneficial.
  • Be able to identify customer needs accurately and provide appropriate support, with experience preparing and interpreting Management Information reports.
  • Demonstrate strong numerical skills, attention to detail, delivery focus and the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Have project management experience, including developing and delivering plans to achieve outcomes on time with limited supervision, alongside current knowledge of analytics best practices, tools and trends.
  • Have experience with relational databases, Structured Query Language (SQL)  and Python, as well as strong data analysis, insight generation, storytelling, problem-solving and presentation skills.
  • Have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint. Data visualisation experience using Qlik Sense, Tableau or Microsoft Power BI would be highly beneficial, along with proven experience building dashboards for senior management.
