We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President Alternatives Reporting.

 

In this role, you will: 

  • Alternatives Reporting is a part of Global Asset Management which deals with performance of funds under various alternative asset classes like Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Infrastructure Debt, Venture Capital etc.
  • The role of Assistant Vice President in Alternatives Reporting requires good understanding of various alternatives products along with good grasp on performance measurement concepts.
  • Responsible for managing the production of end-to-end reporting for the various asset classes like Private Equity, Infrastructure Debt, Direct Real Estate, Venture Capital, Direct Lending syndicates etc.
  • Calculate and produce investment performance and conduct periodic valuation analysis 
  • Co-ordinate with various administrators and investment managers to collate data in order to meet fund reporting timelines. Strong prioritization and effective communication skills required in order to manage the process flow and meet our targets.
  • Calculate fund multiples  using cash flows and perform various fund analytics such as attribution and value creation analysis.
  • Deliver “Alternative Investor Reports, Client and Mandate Reports and Factsheets” as per the Service Line Agreement.
  • Work closely with the  Alternatives and Asset Management team and other stakeholders to suggest process improvements and increase the efficiency of the process.

To be successful, you will: 

  • Graduate /Post Graduate degree holder with more than nine years of experience in Performance Analysis, Attribution and Reporting function.
  • Strong knowledge of financial products especially alternatives assets like private equity, venture capital, real estate, hedge funds and infrastructure.
  • Attention to detail, strong numerical skills and flexibility/willingness to adapt to changes in demand is a must.
  • Strong PowerPoint/Microsoft-Excel skills desired
  • Good to have in-depth knowledge of various asset classes, fund structures and limited partnership agreements.
  • Ability to analyze fund performance for various alternative assets like private equity, hedge funds, real estate, and infrastructure debt for reports.
  • He/ She will have good understanding of alternative concepts, trade lifecycle, fund management concepts, performance reporting and other reconciliation activities related to performance measurement. The candidate should be able to coordinate with various administrators to prepare Fund factsheets for various alternative funds
  • Experience in Alteryx, Tableau, Structured Query Language, Visual Basic for Applications is preferable.
