We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Manager
Purpose of the role
The role supports the global Performance Reporting operating model, using B-One as the strategic platform for calculating and publishing fund performance. The role requires strong knowledge of performance measurement concepts, accurate execution of month-end deliverables, and proactive stakeholder management across multiple time zones within agreed service levels.
In this role, you will:
- Play a key role in the delivery of the overall team’s objectives and meet the deadlines as agreed in the SLA’s.
- Sound knowledge of fund performance calculation and attribution analysis.
- Understanding of risk ratios and investment performance terminologies.
- Maintain accuracy of monthly fund & benchmark performance including all day-to-day activities.
- Deliver the monthly MI reports and provide periodic insights that would help to showcase team’s capability and efficiency and Take accountability and responsibility of new migrations and ensure all the documents including procedures are in place.
- Ad-hoc request– Monitoring the generic mailbox regularly and prioritizing the request, ensure communication of any delays to relevant/affected team with initial heads-up communication and subsequent follow-up with progress on resolution are proactively sent.
- Ensure NIL issues raised from all business partners and wider audience. develop and manage good rapport with onshore business partners.
- Display the characteristics of good team player.
To be successful you will:
- Have strong knowledge of financial products and a good understanding of asset management and fund structures.
- Demonstrate solid understanding of performance measurement and attribution, including the ability to interpret risk and return ratios.
- Have working knowledge of NAV, fund size, benchmarks and corporate actions, and their impact on performance calculations.
- Show strong organisational and communication skills, with proven ability to deliver accurately under tight deadlines and collaborate across locations/time zones.
- Bring relevant technical capability (e.g., Bloomberg/RIMES exposure, strong Microsoft Office skills; SQL knowledge is an advantage).
