We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Director, Transformation & Operations Analytics.

 In this role, you will:

  • Perform activities pertaining to First Line of defense based on the Model Risk Management Framework for traded models:
  • Oversee and Manage book of work for Global Traded & Operational Risk Analytics team. Model Governance Process Improvement
  • Responsible for driving improvements in accuracy and meaningfulness of data in Global Model Inventory System.
  • Undertaking of key projects in collaboration with Traded Risk Global Risk Analytics stakeholders.
  • Responsible for control testing the embeddedness of Traded Risk Global Risk Analytics controls and procedures and ensuring the appropriate action, oversight and tracking in mitigation of any identified non-compliance.
  • Act in the capacity as a trusted advisor to key Traded Risk Global Risk Analytics stakeholders in relation to Global Risk Analytics model control activity.
  • Responsible for the generation and presentation of key model control MI for the use of Traded Risk and key Model governance forums.
  • Internal and external Audit. Liaise with stakeholders to close findings in a timely manner.
  • Implementing global best practices related to traded risk management.
  • Maintain and update Traded Risk relevant Functional Instruction Manuals, policies, framework, Terms of Reference.

 

To be successful you will: 

  • 6-12 years of relevant experience in advanced analytics, model management and project management.
  • Strong Analytics background, with a proven track record of delivering analytics project.
  • Good programming skills (Python, Python Dash, Tableau) to streamline and automate governance processes.
  • Good understanding of Traded Risk domain will be preferred.
  • Manage and train Junior staff.
  • Ability to clearly communicate and engage independently with senior management stakeholders across a matrix organization.
  • Ability to drive results in a limited time duration and handles constant work-related pressure.
