We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Director, Fraud Product Manager.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead end-to-end program management for digital fraud initiatives. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring timely execution and delivery of milestones.Own and prioritise the product roadmap for digital fraud detection and prevention capabilities.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to design, architect and support implementation of fraud detection systems tailored to digital fraud risks (e.g., scams, ATO/ACTO, mule activity, digital payments and online journeys).
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing concerns.Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders, addressing concerns and ensuring transparency in project progress. Help define product requirements and work with teams like engineering and design to build digital fraud prevention tools.
  • Test products, gather feedback, and suggest improvements. Ensure timely delivery of product features and enhancements, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and addressing roadblocks proactively. Research industry trends and new technologies to find ways to improve our products.
  • Look at what competitors are doing and share ideas with the team. Learn about Generative AI and other tools and help figure out how they can be used in digital fraud detection, scam prevention and customer protection.
  • Work with data science teams to analyse digital fraud patterns and improve our products. Work closely with senior product managers and other departments to support product goals.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to share updates and findings. Maintain a strong focus on delivering high-quality solutions within agreed timelines, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer experience across digital channels.

To be successful you will:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience. Bachelor’s or master’s degree from reputed university with Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics specialization.
  • Good experience in program/product management, with a focus on digital fraud. Proven expertise in digital fraud strategies, technologies, and controls, with hands-on experience in implementing fraud solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of fraud prevention and detection technologies, tools, and best practices, particularly for digital channels and payments. Familiarity with fraud risk management frameworks and regulatory compliance requirements, including considerations relevant to digital fraud, scams and customer protection.
  • Deliver the FCS Decision Optimisation programme objectives related to development and implementation of Machine Learning models, access to new external data and improvement of digital fraud decisioning through processing, turnaround time etc.
  • Managing an array of projects, working with a team of Analysts for the project delivery. Work scope will be around digital fraud portfolio management across various markets.
  • Primary work delivery will be focused around solutions for implementing digital fraud management tools & strategies. There will also be opportunities to gain exposure into other areas of fraud management & systems.
