We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Director – Fraud Product Manager 

 

In this role, you will:

 

  • Lead end-to-end program management for internal fraud-related initiatives. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring timely execution and delivery of milestones. Own and prioritize the product roadmap for internal fraud-related capabilities.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to design, architecture and help IT to implement fraud detection systems product tailored to internal fraud risks. Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing concerns.Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders, addressing concerns and ensuring transparency in project progress. Help define product requirements and work with teams like engineering and design to build fraud prevention tools.
  • Test products, gather feedback, and suggest improvements. Ensure timely delivery of product features and enhancements, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and addressing roadblocks proactively. Research industry trends and new technologies to find ways to improve our products.
  • Look at what competitors are doing and share ideas with the team. Learn about Generative AI and other tools and help figure out how they can be used in fraud prevention. Work with data science teams to analyze fraud patterns and improve our products.
  • Work closely with senior product managers and other departments to support product goals. Prepare reports and presentations to share updates and findings.
  • Maintain a strong focus on delivering high-quality solutions within agreed timelines, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. Building and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders across all levels.
  • The role holder needs to manage one or more clients from regions having different time zones, regulatory environment, and maturity of business, data & systems. Mentor’s new joiners and supports in their day-to-day deliveries. Actively contribute with the monitoring and reporting of progress, issues, dependencies, risks to the Program management, internal stakeholders and/or steering committees.

 

To be successful you will:

 

  • Min. 10+ Year of relevant experience. Bachelor’s or master’s degree from reputed university with STEM specialization. Understand fraud vectors/ mechanism (e.g., card/payment fraud, ACTO, ID theft etc.), detection techniques (analytical & Operational) with regulatory implications.
  • Uses KPIs, fraud rates & FP to make prioritization decisions and conduct post deployment impact assessments. Fraud product knowledge (Feedzai/ Experian/ RSA/ SASEFM/ SASID/ BIOCATCH/ TMX – desirable but not mandatory)
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial-services/Retail banking-operations. Exposure to Banking Analytics or equivalent experience in Business, Finance or related field. Experience with Agile/iterative process in the context of project tracking and reporting. Exposure to JIRA/Confluence for project management activity
  • Experience with a Consulting organization and practices and Program/Project Management. Knowledge of Cloud Computing (AWS, GCP), Data Modelling is a plus
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, presentation and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical skills with business analysis aptitude. Experience in running Global Offshore R&A team and a proven track record in establishing a high performance and efficient Data & Information Management unit.
  • Relevant Agile PMPO certification will be desirable. Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and business sponsors. Relevant Agile PMPO/ CBAP/CISO/ SAFE Agilist certification will be desirable not mandatory
  • There are multiple teams supporting different aspects analytics for the same larger business problems. The candidate needs to drive collaborations and synergies to integrate the analytics solutions for the business.
  • The candidate is expected to surmise the business priority and enable the effective delivery of projects and analysis.Prioritize best practice adoption & Implements efficiency and process improvement. Implement group improvement initiatives from end-to-end perspective
