We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Architecture (Skills) Senior Analyst.
Purpose of the role
The Workforce Architecture Skills Analyst supports the delivery and continuous improvement of HSBC’s Workforce Architecture services, with particular emphasis on the skills service but also including Job Architecture, Position Management.
Working closely with the Global Architecture Service Lead, this role helps maintain high-quality data, guidance, and processes that underpin key People strategies such as recruitment, learning, career development, and workforce planning. The role provides an excellent opportunity to build deep expertise in HR architecture, data, and service delivery within a global organization.
In this role, you will:
- Skills Service Support & Delivery: Create, maintain & publish knowledge articles, guidance & process docs for Skills & Job Architecture and Position Management.
- Support management & maintenance of Workforce Architecture products & services and respond to service enquiries from Business Managers, Job Family Owners & Functional Managers, escalating complex issues.
- Skills Data Quality & Analysis: Manage data quality (bulk updates, exception reporting, validation) and develop reports & analysis for insights, service performance & decision‑making using MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables) & Power BI.
- Process & Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve processes, guidance & service efficiency; support change initiatives by documenting & tracking actions; participate in UAT for Workforce Architecture products.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Work with colleagues across PGC, Technology & Operations to deliver service support and prepare stakeholder updates, presentations & communications under the Service Lead; Build understanding of governance processes & support adherence to standards & controls.
- Essential Knowledge & Experience: Prior experience supporting processes, services or operational delivery in a people‑ or data‑focused environment; experience creating/maintaining documentation & knowledge content; proficiency in data analysis with Excel & pivot tables.
- Leadership & Team Management: Embody HSBC values in daily work; collaborate & coach GB/GI & Geography leads on best practices.
- Working knowledge of data analysis using MS Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.
