We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of AVP, Alternative Operations

 

In this role, you will be:

  • Part of the Alts Investment & Ops Systems, this role will support the systems across capabilities and develop the road map with the key vendors for current and future core systems, supporting the Operations Director- HSBC Alternatives, and the Alternatives Operations team globally.
  • Lead the team of Alternatives Investment & Operations System Innovation & automation
  • Provide operational expertise on systems and support on the systems in collaboration with Alternatives Operations Subject Matter Experts, Information Technology, and Business Transformation:
  • Collaborate with Information Technology and business teams to implement system enhancements and new solutions.
  • Support Alternatives core system and engagement for 3rd party’s vendors; Hedge Fund, Private Market, Private credit and Real Assets.
  • Expand capabilities and focus on growth assets in Asia, i.e., Real Assets, Private credit.
  • Having system knowledge of Investran, Geneva, E-front, Aladdin, Allvue, Appian and Anaplan, Power BI, Alteryx and power app.
  • The role is expected to manage volume of data set, collection, cleaning, mapping of data and analysis of data set for anomalies and fixing the data set before its ingested in the system correctly.
  • Develop and maintain data models, databases, and reporting systems.
  • Interpret data and translate findings into clear and concise reports and presentations.

 

To be successful you will be:

  • Degree qualification, preferably in Finance with 7 to 14 years’ experience
  • Experience with database management systems
  • Experience with data visualization tools
  • Experience with statistical analysis tools
  • Must show ability to communicate clearly on diverse subjects and to maintain a high level of professionalism when dealing with clients, investors, and colleagues.
  • Must possess effective project management, organizational and interpersonal skills with proven ability to consolidate diverse and complex business information, and to work towards deadlines in an efficient and accurate manner.
