We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of ASSISTANT DIRECTOR , INNOVATION

In this role, you will: 

  • Strong understanding of business domain, functional goals, and the required technical expertise across multiple regions. Makes decisions, even with ambiguous /incomplete data at a pace that balances the need for further analysis and the need for timely decision given business priorities / requirements.
  • Translate key analytical solutions as generic and re-deployable across regions / markets. Drive redeployment of the solutions
  • Provide actionable analytical solutions for unstructured business problems. Communicates across all levels and with senior executives & Work closely with each business area to deliver specific solutions for each business bottom-line.
  • Lead analytical projects and/or statistical models to include project design, data collection, database design, analysis, and presentation of results & Act as an SME/consultant, conceptualise analytical solution for the business problem at hand for multiple businesses/regions.
  • Implementing advanced data management and governance practices & Ability to independently deliver without any handholding and effective project management and closure with documented evidence.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned and support the Company’s Diversity programs.
  • Ensure adherence with all the applicable compliance policies (Data security policy, AML, operational risk, Functional manual, Group Compliance Manual, Audit recommendations, Internal Control requirements, regulatory guidelines etc.) and business standards of Organization as applicable. Take timely action on Audit comments and be able to demonstrate compliance with Internal controls.

To be successful, you will:

    • Deep expertise in designing and implementing end-to-end analytical solutions that drive significant business impact across diverse operational domains (Fraud, Collections, Underwriting, Credit Bureau).
    • Ability to identify and champion strategic analytical initiatives that align with broader business objectives and deliver measurable ROI.
    • Advanced understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and regulatory changes within the financial services sector to proactively guide analytical efforts.
    • Experience in managing and optimizing the full lifecycle of analytical models, from conceptualization and development to deployment, monitoring, and recalibration in a production environment. Strong programming skills in at least two of the following: SAS, Python, R, SQL, Java - Spring Boot, ReactJS, Tableau, Qlik, Looker, Power BI, or similar platforms (Specific to the role)
    • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, Azure) and/or big data ecosystems (e.g., Hadoop).
    • Proficiency with GCP tools like DataProc, BigQuery or similar technologies on other platforms & Experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Spark and Hive SQL (Good to have)
