We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of ANALYST - TRADE AND TRANSACTION REGULATORY REPORTING

Business: GBM-MSS Ops-Regulatory Reporting

Principal responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor controls across exceptions, reconciliations, quality assurance and pairing & matching.
  • Mitigate under-reporting, over-reporting, and mis-reporting risks identified by controls.
  • Escalate identified issues and work with various stakeholders to implement strategic solutions.
  • Create management information dashboards to highlight key performance indicators and risk indicators.
  • Respond to counterparty queries and exchange information for accurate reporting.
  • Manage audit and business queries within agreed Service Level Agreement response time.
  • Create requirements for IT/regulatory change solutions and test them for business acceptance.

Qualifications 

  • A degree in banking / finance / risk management.
  • Understanding of end-to-end trade lifecycle and characteristics of typical OTC Derivative products.
  • Strong foundation of risk management principles and understanding of controls framework.
  • Awareness of the global regulatory landscape and key aspects of various Trade and Transactions Reporting regulations.
  • Technical understanding of how systems propagate data, calculates risk, and delivers various regulatory reports.
  • Analytical skills to process vast amount of data and provide meaningful insights.
  • Aptitude for continuous improvements with ability to identify issues / inefficiencies and implement solutions.
  • Ability to gather business requirements and document for IT solution implementation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS excel and other MS office applications.

What additional skills will be good to have?

  • Knowledge of ETL tools (QlikView, Power BI)
  • Coding skill in VBA, Python, SQL.
  • Proficiency in project management and workflow tools (JIRA, MS projects, MS SharePoint, Confluence)
  • Previous experience in a risk / control environment (or similar) within a global Investment Bank/Financial Institution.
  • Prior experience with managing internal/external audit.
  • Financial Risk Manager (FRM ®) Certification – GARP.
