We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of AM Risk Screening Processor
In this role, you will:
- Produce and review multiple risk reports as required with end to end ownership.
- Over time, the analyst is expected to understand the metrics generated, ask questions and build up domain knowledge.
- Maintain and update procedure documents as required to enable efficient handover.
- Understand data model and tools used for producing the reports in order to suggest enhancements, efficiencies and standardize the process
- Work with peers to develop best practices and streamline the process in case of multiple upstream dependencies.
- Train backups and demonstrate curiosity to understand and develop new capabilities.
- Ensure accurate reports are delivered in a timely fashion.
- Ensure any issues are escalated and resolved proactively
To be successful you will:
- Knowledge of financial services industry preferably Asset Management
- Knowledge of financial products including derivatives and the multiple risks associated with them.
- Strong data analysis, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with risk-modelling and toolsets e.g. R (or Matlab etc.), Python (or another programming language), Tableau (or similar visualisation tool)
- 2-3 years experience in Financial Services industry
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to develop relationships across the various stakeholders.
- Capable of prioritizing and multi-tasking in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure, while maintaining close attention to detail.
