We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of

 

Specialised Financial Reporting Expert

 

Role purpose

 

Support in delivering accurate, timely and well-controlled Regulatory Capital (RWA) reporting under PRA (UK) and local Mexican regulations (CNBV/Banxico). The role ensures high-quality inputs for Counter Party Risk (CCR) & Non‑CCR and Market Risk, maintains strong data quality and End User Computing (EUC) controls, supports regulatory exercises, and provides clear analysis and reporting to help stakeholders understand RWA movements and meet regulatory expectations.

 

Main activities: 

 

  • Run and support end-to-end RWA processes under PRA and CNBV frameworks
  • Process, validate and reconcile data for CCR, Non‑CCR and Market Risk
  • Prepare regulatory inputs/templates (e.g., CIUs/investment funds, securitisations)
  • Calculate key measures such as GIRR duration and FX exposure
  • Consolidate monthly RWAs for LATAM and perform variance analysis
  • Execute data quality controls (DQIs) and maintain EUC certifications
  • Support local capital adequacy calculations and reporting to Banco de México
  • Coordinate responses to regulatory queries, working with local/offshore teams and stakeholders
  • Provide RWA estimates and insights to support business planning and decision-making

 

Requirements

 

  • Experience in regulatory capital / RWA and/or regulatory reporting within a bank or financial institution (ideally covering CCR, Market Risk and/or Non‑CCR).
  • Working knowledge of relevant frameworks and concepts (e.g., Basel, PRA expectations; local capital rules exposure is a plus).
  • Understanding of key products/exposures such as derivatives, FX, repos/SFTs, investment funds (CIUs) and securitisations.
  • Strong skills in data processing, validation, reconciliation and variance analysis, with a control mindset.
  • Ability to produce clear reporting for senior stakeholders, including explaining drivers of RWA movements.
  • Advanced Excel (essential); SQL/SAS/Altair or similar tools desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to meet strict deadlines, and confidence working across multiple teams and time zones.
  • Strong written and spoken English (working language).
