We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Citrix Administrator
Role Purpose:
This role is responsible for Support for the local final users of the applications that run over the Citrix Infrastructure. Citrix Engineer to support and fix the Citrix related issues like performance of the VDIs, Mobile and Static Thin Clients, Apps publication, etc.
Citrix Administrator are responsible for installing, managing, and upgrading Windows-based systems and servers. They are also responsible for managing data security, configuring user access, and maintaining the stability of the system. Provide server support and manage windows environment. Installation and maintenance of Physical & Virtual Servers on VMWare /Hyper V . Willing to work in a 24x7 environment.
- Main Activities:
- Prefer Citrix Certified professional with 6+ years of experience in Citrix technologies and working in a mid to large organization.
- Should have expertise on Citrix XenApp 7.x, XenDesktop 7.x and NetScaler.
- Should have expertise on Appsense, and PowerShell scripting.
- Citrix Administration support (L1 / L2)
- Should have good knowledge on Operating systems like Windows Server12/16/19.
- Basic knowledge on SCCM & SCOM.
- create new delivery groups and catalogues.
- Add new servers.
- Evergreening publish applications.
- Work with applications owner to solve issues with the ports communications.
- Deploy new publish application using SCCM.
- Create and demise VDI’s on demand
- Increase VDI’s resources on demand
- clean disk space in VDI’s
- Enable specific configuration in vmware for the VDI’s
- Housekeeping unused VDI’s
- Reinstall VDA client in Citrix member servers and VDI’s.
- Analyze device performance (servers and VDI’s).
- Run scripts to massive restart on demand
- Support to help desk and second level support.
- Modify configuration in delivery groups and catalogues.
- Personalization of the publish applications according user request.
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills as the job role involves interaction with multiple stake holders.
- Should be aware of ITIL & Agile processes
- Expert knowledge on Virtualization: VMWare, Microsoft
- Knowledge of AD group policies
- Monitoring and Reporting
- ITIL Process knowledge (Problem, Incident, Change Management)
- Ensuring we adhere to customer & SLA commitments
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfactory service
- Communicate customer feedback to the appropriate internal team members
- Citrix XenApp 7.x, XenDesktop 7.x and NetScaler.
- Should have expertise on Appsense, and PowerShell scripting
- Should be aware of ITIL & Agile processes
- English and Spanish Language – To manage tickets
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Basic knowledge on SCCM & SCOM
- On call once a month (24x7). During that week they need to validate the services in director, appdynamic and check the status of the VDI’s in the citrix console
- Validate the alerts in xmatters application in cell phone
- Qualifications Required:
Upgrade the version of publish applications. - Check the security configurations in the publish applications servers, infrastructure servers and the NetScaler.
- Renew certificates.
- Close vulnerabilities
- Create and configure new policies.
- Create specific configurations in appsense
- Install new publish application according to the global process.
- Configure AppDynamics agents and configure the monitoring policies.
- Create scripts on demand.
Lenguage Level:
- English level – Advanced English proficiency C1.
