We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role Senior Analyst Pricing

MSS Data Ops is a shared service organization created in 2010 with in HTSO which provides Pricing information across entities within HSBC Group.

The process is in Bangalore, Colombo and Mexico. We cater services to 2 main businesses, namely Global Markets and Securities Services. Our clients are spread across the Globe covering APAC, EMEA, MENA and Americas. Governance and Committee Memberships (membership of ExCos, Risk Management Meeting)

Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities (e.g., for Business, Customers and Stakeholders; internal control environment, etc.)

•          The role includes to ensure and assess that all work is delivered within agreed timeframes and meets the required high-quality standard 

•          Responsibility to deliver a high-quality customer driven service which provides customers with a positive view of HSBC and meets their expectation in terms of accuracy, timeliness and professionalism 

•          Take appropriate measures to Understand and deliver excellent customer service. Process customer instructions accurately and efficiently to achieve agreed quality standards and targets (as amended or notified from time to time) on all the processes worked.

•          Take measures for pro-actively identifying, suggesting and designing improvements in process workflows

•          To monitor and ensure that common errors / irregular transactions are identified and efficiently escalated in accordance with procedures in a timely manner

•          To understand and comply with all relevant policies and procedures issued by the Group and contained within the Group Standards Manual and relevant Functional Instruction Manuals, Desk Instruction Books and Process Guides

•          To be aware of the Operational Risk scenario associated with the role and to ensure that all actions consider the likelihood of operational risk occurring

•          To establish and maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators

•          To acquire and update knowledge on procedures related to processes and to ensure that work is completed in accordance with the procedures and well within the respective timeframes

•          Investigate and Resolve issues / problems effectively and escalate    appropriately referred with the appropriate recommendations

•          To respond effectively and efficiently   to urgent work demands and be flexible with work timings.

Skills 

•          Fluent in English – spoken and written

•          Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Access and PowerPoint

•          Knowledge on Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives & FX related products & Money Market products

•          Experience with vendor systems – Refinitiv & Bloomberg data feed

•          Excellent attention to detail

•          Work on own initiative

•          Good knowledge of Derivatives/Fixed Income/Equities/FX Rates (D)

•          Should be able to work flexible hours (Night Shift/Rotation Shift) (E)

•          Graduate in Commerce, Finance or Equivalent
