We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Corporate and Inst Banking team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.
In this role, you will:
- Provide a high-quality service to internal/external customers in a professional and timely manner.
- Keep line manager informed about all general issues/problems/Errors and ensure that they are effectively investigated, resolved or are appropriately referred with.
- High standards are always maintained. Following up on all Compliance and AML related subjects and staff awareness requirements.
- Verification of the daily inward HSBC checks , all mandatory fields , signature compliance , technical aspects & proceed with the return if any by sending notification to the business for information
- Process GMG reconciliation by EOD
- Process daily inward Bills received from clearing for payment & inform business about any issues
- Ensure efficient feedback & follow up regarding the customers complaints received from the other local banks
- Processing the BAU activities, low and high value payments
- Inform on due course the RMs / ARMs about any return of funds, issues with payments
- Prepare Bills for sending to other banks through AME (common task with others).
- Process the payments received through e channel, report any issues to GLCM & take appropriate actions
- Make sure to inform the line of business (RMs / ARMs) about any issues related to payments, return of funds
- Archiving documents & swifts are complete & entire from payments; it is everyone’s responsibility & any missing or lost document can have negative impact on the performance
- Process the salary list received from branch
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
Knowledge / Experience
- University Graduate
- Specific knowledge of local regulation, incident of payment
- Excellent communication skills as will be dealing with Senior Management and other Departments to resolve issues
- Elementary knowledge about accounting scheme & process, outstanding clearance ,
