What you'll do

You’ll work with Relationship Managers and specialist teams to support corporate and institutional clients. From the start, you’ll help build an understanding of each client’s business, priorities and growth plans, and see how HSBC brings together the right expertise to support them. You could help prepare client presentations, reports and credit papers, support strategic reviews and pitches, and carry out financial analysis and risk assessments on portfolios and transactions. You’ll also work with colleagues across Legal, Credit and Risk, and see how teams collaborate across functions and geographies to deliver tailored solutions. It’s a practical introduction to relationship-led banking, where you’ll learn by contributing to real client work.

What you'll learn

You’ll begin with any required regulated training and exams, followed by HSBC’s Global Graduate Induction and a tailored learning journey for relationship management. Through that support, you’ll build your understanding of corporate and institutional clients, banking products, and how relationship teams work with specialists across the bank. You’ll learn how to connect client needs with the right solutions, strengthen your commercial judgement, and develop the communication skills needed to work confidently with different stakeholders. The programme also helps you build a global network of peers and colleagues, so you won’t be learning in isolation. By the end, you’ll have the technical grounding and professional confidence to grow in a client-facing banking career.

Where you'll work

You’ll work in Corporate and Institutional Banking, in a relationship-led environment supporting global corporate and institutional clients. You’ll be part of a team that works closely with product specialists and partner functions across the bank, creating a broad and connected view of client coverage. It’s a collaborative office environment where strong relationships, commercial awareness and teamwork are central. You’ll gain exposure to a culture that is fast-paced, international and built around delivering for clients together.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible, you must:

• Be available to work full time for 18 months commencing July 2027
• For male applicants with Taiwan nationality, required to complete compulsory military service before July 2027
• Will have completed your studies by July 2027
• Have obtained, or expect to achieve, a cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0, or an equivalent 2:1 degree from a recognised university, as shown on your official transcript or degree certificate 
• Be fluent in English and Mandarin
• Be legally permitted to work in Taiwan for the full duration of the graduate programme and beyond the graduate programme end date, without requiring HSBC visa sponsorship, now or in the future
