You could be a great fit if you’re:
• A natural collaborator and relationship builder: You enjoy working closely with different people, across teams and seniority levels, to find the best outcome.
• An effective communicator: You explain things clearly and can translate complex information into simple ideas, both in writing and in conversation.
• Ownership mindset: You take the initiative, solve problems proactively, and bring new ideas that go the extra mile.
Eager to learn: You’re always asking questions, expanding your knowledge, and connecting with others to grow your skillset.
• An analytical thinker: You’re curious about how systems work and look for smarter ways of doing things. You enjoy using data to drive improvements and are excited about innovation.
• Process-savvy: You spot inefficiencies and think you would enjoy using tools and analysis to streamline processes and uncover valuable insights.
What you’ll do
From day one, you'll be part of a team that protects client investments and delivers cutting-edge post-trade solutions.
Here’s a taste of what you could get involved in:
• Understand investment opportunities: Learn how we keep investors and their assets secure in a global marketplace.
• Take the lead: Own projects and gain hands-on experience with our key products and services.
• Explore the future: Apply innovation, tech, and digital tools to serve our clients better.
• Dive into different specialisms: Work on projects linked to Custody, Funds & Depository Services, Agency Lending & Liquidity, Alternatives, Trustee & Fiduciary Services, Digital Data & Innovation, and Business Management.
• See the big picture: Understand how our post-trade services help connect clients to investment opportunities – while making sure everything runs safely and smoothly.
What you’ll learn
We’ll support you with all the training and development you need to succeed. Your journey will typically begin with our Global Graduate Induction, where you’ll train alongside your graduate peers. The induction provides you with an overview of HSBC, as well as an opportunity to build a global network of graduates and business colleagues, which will prove invaluable as your HSBC career unfolds. Once you’ve completed the Global Graduate Induction, you’ll take part in a global tailored training programme to build both the technical understanding and professional capability required for your role.
After your initial training, you’ll join a dedicated product team, but your learning won’t stop there. You’ll gain insight across product development, client service, business management and risk, developing sought-after skills in:
