What you'll do

Over two years, you’ll complete four rotations across Securities Services, giving you a broad view of how we support institutional clients through post‑trade and investment servicing. Depending on your rotation, you could help teams delivering custody, fund and depository services, alternatives, trustee/fiduciary, agency lending and liquidity, or business management and change. You’ll analyse service performance and operational data, help investigate issues and exceptions, and support process, control and client service improvements. You’ll also contribute to initiatives that strengthen efficiency and resilience—such as documenting workflows, improving data quality, supporting digital tooling, or coordinating delivery tasks with stakeholders across product, operations, risk and client coverage. Each rotation builds your understanding of the end-to-end service model and lets you take on progressively more ownership as you develop.

What you'll learn

You’ll build a strong foundation in Securities Services and how post‑trade servicing works in practice—how products fit together, what clients value, and how service quality is measured and improved. Across rotations you’ll develop commercial awareness, operational risk and controls knowledge, and an understanding of governance and escalation in a highly regulated environment. You’ll also strengthen transferable skills: structured problem‑solving, stakeholder management, clear written and verbal communication, and using data and digital tools to identify trends and drive improvements. By the end of the programme, you’ll have both breadth (multiple teams and products) and depth (delivery experience and ownership) to launch a long-term career within Securities Services.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, you must:

• Be available to work full time for 10 weeks commencing June 2027
• Have obtained, or expect to achieve, a 2:1 degree classification or higher, or an overseas equivalent
• Be in the penultimate year of undergraduate study and be expecting to graduate in 2028
• Be fluent in English
