What you'll do

You’ll join an Issuer Services team focused on either business development or client services, helping support clients through complex transactions. You could contribute to market and deal research, help prepare presentations and client materials, support logistics, admin or marketing activity, and join meetings or events to see how long-term client relationships are managed. You’ll work with colleagues across Product, Marketing, Legal and Regulatory Compliance, and may also interact with external stakeholders such as investment banks, corporates, issuers, lenders and law firms. It’s varied work that gives you a practical view of how teams collaborate to deliver strong service in a detailed, high-stakes environment. The internship also includes structured assessments aligned to securing a graduate role, giving you chances to demonstrate how you think, collaborate and deliver, through tasks such as project work, presentations, interviews or skills-based evaluations.

What you'll learn

You’ll build your understanding of Issuer Services through a mix of structured learning and practical exposure from day one. Your first week includes technical and behavioural training designed to help you settle in quickly and build confidence early. As the internship progresses, you’ll deepen your understanding of how different teams work together across Product, Marketing, Legal and Regulatory Compliance, and how external stakeholders shape complex transactions. You’ll also learn why integrity, discretion and accuracy matter so much in sensitive, high-stakes environments. By the end of the internship, you’ll have a clearer understanding of how this specialist area supports clients and markets—and stronger professional skills to build on.

You’ll work in Issuer Services within Corporate and Institutional Banking, joining a team focused on either business development or client services. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, you must:

• Be available to work full time from March 2027 onwards
• Have obtained, or expect to achieve, a 2:1 degree classification or higher, or an overseas equivalent
• Be fluent in English
• Have completed studies, or will have complete them by the end of March 2027
