What you'll do

You’ll work in a specialist team and gain exposure across areas such as Sales, Product Management, Client Management, Business Management or Chief Control Office. You could help solve client problems by supporting work on payments, cards or liquidity solutions, preparing dashboards and presentations, and contributing to materials used in client-facing conversations. You may also support work linked to compliance and regulation, and explore how technologies like AI, APIs, Cloud and automation are improving services. You’ll work with colleagues across product, control and client teams, and help HSBC stay competitive in areas such as real-time payments and virtual accounts. It’s practical work with a clear connection to client outcomes.

What you'll learn

You’ll begin with HSBC’s Global Graduate Induction, then build your knowledge through tailored training focused on Global Payment Solutions. You’ll develop a practical understanding of core products including liquidity and investment solutions, payments and cards, and learn how these help clients manage cash, move money and improve efficiency. Alongside technical learning, you’ll strengthen your communication, problem-solving and commercial skills in a business shaped by regulation, technology and innovation. The programme is designed to help you understand not just what the products are, but why they matter to clients. By the end, you’ll have a strong foundation in global payments and the confidence to keep growing in a specialist transaction banking career.

Where you'll work

You’ll work in Global Payment Solutions, where teams across sales, product, client management and business management come together to support clients’ payment and liquidity needs. It’s a collaborative environment within Corporate and Institutional Banking, shaped by global commerce, regulation and innovation. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, you must:

• Be available to work full time for 10 weeks commencing June 2027
• Have obtained, or expect to achieve, a 2:1 degree classification or higher, or an overseas equivalent
• Be in the penultimate year of undergraduate study and be expecting to graduate in 2028
• Be fluent in English
